Free Lesson # 11

With the chords you have memorized, you are going to start to "arpeggiate" them. You use Alternate picking to do this, try it with an "E minor" chord to start out. Then once you get the feel for it, apply it to the other chords you learned in the previous lessons.

Start combining all the chords you have learned into a chord progression of your choice. Arpeggiate each chord and then switch to your next chord, staying in time with the metronome.  Note: you do not have to play every  note in order in the chord during an arpeggio, try playing different patterns (this is a little more difficult at first).  Experiment around with this! If  you made up a cool chord progression in the previous lessons, maybe just arpeggiate one or two chords in it.
