Try using the "metronome" and strum in-time with the beats. You can adjust the time to most any speed you want.

 

Then start trying to switch from chord to chord in-time without losing the beat.

More 1st position "open chords". These are very common chords and are used in just about every rock, country,  pop,  and alternative song out there!   Make sure you remember all the "open chords", you will be tested on them later in this series.  To hear the sound of the chord,  click on the "left half" of the chord diagram. To see a "You View" picture of the chord,  click on the "right half" of the chord diagram.
