How are you doing with chords so far?? Do you have them memorized yet? If not, don't stress out about it! You will get them in time.

Now you will learn another strumming pattern: DOWN, DOWN,UP,DOWN. This strumming is a more free flowing type of strumming. It may be a challenge for some of you at first, most people get tripped up and forget where they are in the pattern. One way to overcome this is to SAY IT OUTLOUD while you strum, this way you will catch yourself if you make a mistake.

The pattern just repeats itself over and over>> down down up down | down down up down | down down up down | down down up down | and so-on.
